Job Description
Manage all aspects of Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to executive team.
Oversee SAP project to provide metrics for reporting to executive team on business case ROI.
Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business case.
Develop and oversee detailed project plans.
Identify, analyze and recommend business systems solutions to management having broad business impact.
Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.
Motivate work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
Convey and report status to executives, global business partners and all other key stakeholders.
Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.
Participate in project reviews, approvals, and gating processes.
Ensure the appropriate and relevant level of testing is in place for all projects e.g. system, regression, UAT with stakeholder sign-off as part of the gating process.
Produce agreed levels of Portfolio reporting on all projects being delivered or within the oversight of the PMO
Deliver an effective and timely schedule of project communications liaising with the relevant Sponsors and stakeholders including the Communications Team Project Delivery Approach
Be an advocate of the organizations Project Delivery Approach
Scope and shape the requirements of the Project Delivery Approach across the organization working closely with Business Services Director
Devise, produce and implement new systems and processes to optimize more effective project management as required and within the framework of the organizations Project Delivery Approach
Own the PMO central repository of documentation and processes including the PM Toolkit
Ensure standardized and relevant document templates are available from a central repository for both the PMO and business project team members
Facilitates sharing of best practices through informal communities of action, PMO collaboration and/or formal training sessions to enable a consistent approach across all projects
Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities within the PMO and business project teams to drive best practice 20% Financials & Benefits Realization
Ensure a robust process of notification or escalation is in place to report on both underspend and potential overspend with the appropriate approvals sought for either situation
