The ideal candidate will be an accounting professional who will support the internal finance and accounting teams by providing outstanding customer services through the following tasks.
Responsibilities:
Serve as system administrator for systems assigned
Responsible for ensuring systems assigned are always current - patches etc.
Guide finance team in creating change requests (CR)
Ensure training documentation is current
Challenge the status quo and work in cross functional environment
Lite project management to ensure projects are moving forward
Participate in Financial system or master data audit as assigned
Maintain SAP FICO master data
Key Business Process testing
Become part of the "go to" team for financial systems and process improvement
Engage and consider impact to all global teams in any change of process, controls, and system implementation
Troubleshoot issues in order to help teammates or point them to the correct team if needed and follow up until resolved
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or similar
2-3 years of experience with SAP from an accounting perspective either directly as an end user or support of end users
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles preferably through direct experience in an accounting role
To be successful in this position you will need the following skills:
Must have experience with SAP (Winshuttle, Floqast, Blackline a plus)
Ability to communicate and enforce controls across all business levels
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong team approach
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles - Accounting 101
Be a change agent
Enjoys working with data as well as people
Ability to do lite project management
Utilize critical thinking technics to bring dynamic problem solution in support of global finance team
