What Will You Do?
Catch and Dispatch of various SAP incidents received from the service desk to the responsible solution groups, when the status of the ticket is "new"
Categorizing the incidents Level 1, 2 and 3.
Resolution of most common issues included in KB excel sheet, and work with customers.
Ability to work in large and diverse teams.
Exposure to Run SAP methodologies or experience in working on any incident management tool has added advantages.
Proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience working in a globally distributed teams.
Need to communicate in a clear and concise manner both in written form of emails, ticket comments, and verbally; as well as internally and on the phone with customers.
Escalate Major Incidents to the Incident and/or Problem Manager.
Escalate unresolved Incidents to Incident Leads.
Resolve Incidents within the specified scope KB documents list.
Implementation and management of ITIL Problem and Change Management processes.
Analysis of trends for problem detection.
Communicate problem review results and improvement actions to management.
Provide continual mentoring to IT support staff.
Provide management reports measuring progress towards KPIs.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of Problem and Change Management processes.
Ensure compliance of Problem and Change Management processes.
Validation, oversight, documentation and post review of problem records to ensure a timely and successful resolution.
What You Need To Succeed?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Less than 2 years of related experience.
ITIL Foundations certification.
Six-Sigma Green Belt certification.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Strong root cause analysis skills.
Excellent understanding of ITIL Problem and Change Management processes.
Strong verbal, including presentation/training, and written communication skills.
Strong relationship management skills with ability to lead and manage projects.
Strong knowledge of IT functions
Self motivated and able to work independently and reliably
Ability to work flexible schedule based on customer need
Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
May require additional project-specific training
