Job Description
The Sample Solutions team is responsible for developing creative and cost effective solutions to meet customers panel partner data needs. The Sample Solutions Buyer role is the crucial connection between our global network of partners and the solutions needed by our customers.
The Sample Solutions Buyer will engage with a wide range of Dynata teams and our global network of sample partners for sourcing, recommending and on-boarding new sources of global supply. In order to be successful the Sample Solutions Buyer must have excellent communication skills, enjoy negotiating, be detail oriented and a truly team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Quickly and effectively respond to internal customer requests for sample
Create and develop effective external procurement relationships to provide excellent customer support
Negotiate costs and agreements with partners to provide the best possible mix of margin and quality
Responsible for working with Finance and partners to effectively process invoices
Assist with the development and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key performance indicators related to procurement activities
Assist with specific Sample Solutions projects such as partner quality, cost reduction, client solutioning, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Education Required
Bachelors degree with a strong academic record or procurement experience
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1-2 years procurement or operations-related work experience, ideally in a market research environment. Experience in structured process improvement activities is strongly preferred.
