We run an entirely cloud-based architecture which supports thousands of Aussie business owners, advisers and partners every week. Our platform also powers commercial lending for a number of partners including Qantas and Australia Post with more household names in the pipeline. Salesforce powers a huge portion of our workflows and is a critical piece of our architecture.
We're currently experiencing rapid growth, and looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our engineering team on a full time basis. We're big believers in collaboration, support and helping you thrive, so we work together at our HQ in Surry Hills-but we're pretty flexible when it comes to a few days a week remote work, 2020 right?
Requirements
We're looking for a candidate who's passionate about engineering and technology, generative process design and can articulate, assess and solve technical problems. You will work directly with the Chief Product Officer (one of our co-founders!) so being comfortable in taking ownership of our Salesforce stack and spearheading development while constantly applying critical thinking will be imperative to success in the role.
Owning the Salesforce stack at Valiant
Architecting and implementing solutions to core business problems using Apex and Lightning Web Components
Providing mentorship to other Salesforce developers to help them prioritise, build and ship features
Integrating with external services such as Xero or our custom built platform (
) * Working with engineering, product, UX and other teams to define, architect and refine deliverables
Writing well-structured, easily maintainable, tested and documented code
About your skills
Minimum 4+ years Salesforce development experience
Extensive experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrating external services with Salesforce
Experience developing both org and package based Salesforce development models
Experience developing and deploying metadata via SFDX workflows
Experience with Linear, Jira or similar development & project management tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if you have experience with or have
Admin / Architecture / Developer Salesforce certifications
Configuring continuous integration and deployment with tools like CircleCI
Integrating marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Autopilot
Financial services experience (in particular, lending or corporate finance)
UX experience and experience with the Lightning Design System
A computer science degree
Experience with Trailhead
