As a Senior member of the Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for completing client projects, as well as taking on oversight of the business in times of need. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using both Agile & Waterfall methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. Candidates will be working collaboratively with client and project teams as well as working from proposal development to deployment and support. Further to this, you will be expected to be aware of and responsible for managing the agreed upon project budgets and ensuring all members of the Salesforce team are coming together to work as one unit and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
● 30 billable hours logged in the company mandated time tracking software per week
● Timely completion of projects and tasks as assigned to you by Project Coordinator/Manager
● Mentoring and leading of staff where appropriate
● Lead scoping, projects implementation, create & reviewing SOWs where required
● Providing updates to the Project Coordinator/Manager or Director as required
● Documentation of project work, solutions, customisations within designated location and as per company standards
● Point of escalation for Project related tasks
● Accountable for the quality & accuracy of outputs of Salesforce Team
● Being commercially aware of impacts to project budgets and timelines and alert any risks of exceeding budget to stakeholders
● Attending meetings as requested by Project Coordinator/Manager
● Utilise best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
Utilise best practices to perform/delegate testing and quality assurance as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
● Ability to self-manage and coordinator/organise team members
● Respectfully assisting in leading the business in the event the Director is away
Requirements
● Experience leading small and medium-sized teams
● Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
● Experience working on Salesforce platforms
● Experience working in other CRM software packages (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, SalesLogix, Oracle Siebel, SAP etc.) preferred
● Direct experience working on CRM projects
● Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
● Experience and expertise in software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, Lightning Aura, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing)
● Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
● Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM
● Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
● A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies (Salesforce DX, Deployment Platforms, Visual Flow Builder, WebStorm/VisualCode IDEs, Talend Open Studio, Visual Studio, object-relational (O/R) mapping (NHibernate), NUnit)
