The Sales Manager is expected to plan, organize, direct, and control all activities relating to sales, account management, new business development/expansions, new product launches, and promotion of company products and services. Market Research and Analysis
Designs and executes market analysis;
Solicits feedback on products and services;
Makes recommendations on product improvements based on client feedback;
Prepares sales forecasts and the sales/marketing budgets based on reliable assumptions;
Strategizes and approves the weekly itinerary of the sales team,
Leads and supervises new product launches;
Sales and Account Management Functions
Shall function as a "playing coach";
Ensures every client presentation is relevant, updated, and engaging;
Attends to client inquiries, requests, and concerns;
Leads the closing and negotiations with clients;
Prepares cost-benefit analysis for marketing and sales blitz;
Leads the sales team in prospecting, attending client meetings, introducing products and services; and conducting sales blitz when warranted;
Facilitates timely submission of commercial bids;
Sustains good relationships with clients, conducts effective probing, inquires about client concerns, and attends client calls with the sales team;
Prepares pricing computations, quotations, and proposals
Coordinates with operational departments on client requirements/concerns
Leads group monthly sales meetings to recalibrate action items to achieve goals.
Mentors the sales team, enforces the company policies/code of conduct, and participates in the hiring-firing activities of the department
Prepares the necessary reports to Management
With at least 5 years managerial sales experience, preferably in any or all of the following: supply chain industry, construction industry, software development industry
With a College Degree (preferably in business-related courses)
Mastery of the English language - written and oral
Sales expertise - conducting market analysis, prospecting, sales presentation
Excellent customer relations - can build/sustain goodwill, knows how to handle difficult customers and objections
Skills in problem analysis and problem-solving
Inspiring leadership - with the ability to motivate and sustain morale, with the ability to train and mentor, can command compliance and respect from his subordinates
Technologically-savvy
Flexible and collaborative - excellent listener, can handle and can get along with various teams
