Responsibilities
· Locates and proposes potential business deals; discovering and exploring business opportunities
· Closes new business deals for all Rhenus products, domestic and international freight, transport, customs clearance and warehousing services
· Develops growth strategies and plans
· Manages and retains fruitful relationships with existing clients
· Excellently plan to ensure achievement of sales targets and KPI's
· Prepares PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
· Prepares quotes, proposals and participates in bids
· Timely submission of the required reports and reports via SUGAR system
· Ensure credit term rule is being followed and assists in collecting overdue receivables
· Updates job knowledge by attending conferences, meetings and industry events
· Adherence to all Rhenus compliances; 100% dedication in selling Rhenus products and services and not engage in any selling activity other than these during the employment term with Rhenus
· Actively participates in all company-wide activities
· Other task that may assigned by his immediate superior and MD
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
· With high market knowledge of freight forwarding industry and it's rules & regulations
· Meeting Sales goals and able to deliver results at a given time
· Possess an excellent negotiation skills
· Outstanding Sales planning ability
· With superior ability to execute modern sales techniques and best practices
· High time management and organization skills, approachable and team player
Qualifications
· Graduate of any 4-year course, marketing and logistics related or equivalent
· With at least 5-year experience managing a sales team in a freight forwarding industry
· With proven and existing key accounts upon joining with Rhenus
· Excellent ability in sales presentation and highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
· Excellent communications skills
· Knows how to drive, with driver license and preferably with own car
