Summary Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling all reservations and inquiries for corporate and social events from the booking stage to the planning stage. Reactive and proactive sales.
Basic Tasks:
Performs any duties as assigned by superior in a timely and efficient manner. Candidate must be energetic, driven, with excellent communications skills, exude confidence, and have a pleasant demeanor.
· 60% Sales - Reactive and Proactive (cultivating leads and opportunities)
· 20% Planning and detailing of partnerships
· 20% Administrative work - Sales Report, Lead Generation, etc.
Administrative Tasks:
· Make arrangements for sales calls.
· Conduct oculars for prospective clients
· Prepare the initial proposal for the function.
· Once the initial function proposal was sent out, make a follow-up call for any changes.
· Prepare the revised proposal for guest approval.
· Check the guest requirement for the revised proposal.
· Prepare the function event order and distribute it to the departments concerned.
· Asking for approval from proper Heads for any special case that is not defined in the resources provided
· Pick up telephones with company/ business standard telephone manner.
· Complete the Daily Activities Report.
· Attend the internal daily briefing which relates directly to events
· Complete the "Weekly Sales Call Plan" for next week.
· Attend the coordination meeting if necessary.
· Complete "Account Update List" on monthly basis. Set targets and build the database.
· Carry on any other duties assigned by management.
