DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify and pursue sales opportunities through various channels including online research and customer referrals.
2. Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and offer solutions using the company's products.
3. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
4. Process orders in a timely and accurate manner while ensuring customer needs and specifications are met.
5. Provide after-sales support such as product installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, attend sales meetings, and meet or exceed sales targets.
7. Demonstrate a willingness to accept and complete any additional tasks or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. This involves working outside of the usual scope of responsibilities, and require flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and work demands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
2. At least 3 years of technical sales, auditing processing plants, and installation and commissioning experience, preferably in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or personal care industries.
3. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering equipment used in these industries, particularly hygienic pumps, water treatment, and wastewater monitoring instruments.
4. Passion for sales and desire for continuous improvement and growth in the role.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality customer-oriented service.
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, travel and work outside of regular business hours if required, punctuality, tenacity, perseverance, strong communication and presentation skills, and a pro-active attitude in seizing opportunities.
