Description
Drive and support revenue growth at customers by providing technical and sales support promoting Emerson Products. Remotely manages relationships with small to mid-size customers to allow US-based Outside sales counterparts increased face time with customers.
Responsibilities
PLANNING
Performs pre-sales activities for prospects in managed accounts:
Provide timely information and updates on products, services, solutions and on the company
Monitor developments with customers for proper timing and planning of new product development
Forecasting sales on managed customers
Prepare monthly Territory Sales Report/ Fiscal Year End Sales Report
Maintains the accuracy and upkeep of each customer account in the database through the following:
Update of each customer profile
Documentation of each product profile
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Support post-sales activities by monitoring customer orders and creating status reports.
Support Customer Service through the following:
Handle major technical issues and problems
Update on new products and prices created for customers
Recommends resolutions on business operational issues as follows:
Receivables
Material/ Product Returns/ Warranty
Pricing discrepancies
Lost or defective products during shipment
CREATING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
Pursue new businesses opportunities by providing support customers and US Sales Managers such as the following:
Define NBO and matching product profiles
Prospect, evaluate and set-up new OEM account
Support business growth through the following:
Emerson brand cross-selling
Provide and follow-up complete and formal quotations sent
Provides product research and act on literature request
Support sales activities of the managed accounts as follows:
Point of contact for technical issues on Copeland brand compressors and condensing unit products
Coordinate sample activities and shipments to expedite requests and processing of orders
Decide on credit recommendation on short paid invoices
Send product samples of compressors, condensing units and electronics for testing
Recommend resolutions on pricing negotiations
Additional Functions
Provide other ad hoc reports required by the sales team to achieve sales goals
Attends training, workshop, seminar, and focus group discussion of the team
Contribute to other projects that align to defined operational and employee goals
Requirements
Graduate of any four-year business or behavioural discipline course
Graduate of any engineering discipline course will also be considered
At least two (2) years experience gained from interactive customer service and related functions
At least one (3) years experience gained from marketing, industrial sales, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing and technology business
Knowledge in Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVACR) is an advantage
Background in offshore service operations is an added advantage
Ability to assume cross-trained function
Ability to assume back up due to skills and capacity constraints
Ability to build long lasting relationships with internal and external customers, and work within a team setting

Knowledge on computer applications such MS Office, Mainframe and other Business Systems and Tools
