The Sales Assistant role acts as a product and service liaison for customers to ensure that all deliverables are being met. This is an agile player who bridges gaps between functional areas and reduces customer friction.
Point of Sale:
• Updates exhibitor correspondence templates in A2Z such as confirmation letters and invoices
• Interacts with the event’s international sales agents to process contracts, track wire transfers, generate visa letters and confirm sales.
Post Sale:
• Inbound customer support, A2Z console, exhibit services and staff registration
• Verifying exhibitor payment information with the Accounting Dept
• Processing cancellation confirmation letters and refunds or booth upgrades/changes • Logging of customer correspondence around contracts and payments
• Works closely with accounting in setting up payment plans for exhibitors, support collections (outbound) follow-up with exhibitors and accounting
Fulfillment:
• Tracks deliverables and correspondence associated with sponsored activations, barters and pavilions
• Chases and manages sponsor assets deliverables with marketing services, e.g., List Rental, Advertising and Conference Track Sponsorship
