Description
- Promotes Industrial Safety and Environmental Awareness to prevent illnesses and injuries in the workplace.
- Acts as the employer's principal assistant in the set-up and application of programs to remove the hazards in the workplace and to correct unsafe work practice.
2. Administers all matters pertaining to health and safety. Helps manage risks and hazards in different work areas.
- Monitor workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies (ex. PPE policy) and government safety regularizations and assist in the application of HSO procedures.
- Conducts investigation of accident and submits separate report and analysis of accidents.
- Coordinates and implements all health and safety training programs for the employees.
- Conduct Health and Safety inspection. Liaises with Department key personnel HSO and other safety personnel.
- Overseas accident record system and coordinates actions to be taken with supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
- Develop injury and incident prevention strategies in different work area.
- Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.
- Audit local area OSH compliance with regard to risk, emergency and hazardous waste management.
- Promotes Occupational Health and Safety awareness.
- Ensures submission of Annual Health & Safety Reports.
- Monitors annual Work Accident-Illness Data Report (IP-6b)
- Monitors annual Employer's Work Accident/Illness Report (IP-6)
- Formulates the Health and Safety Manual or Program of the Company that will serve as reference for all Policies and Procedures that will be implemented in all factories.
- Knowledgeable on DOLE Regulation on OSH Standard
- Must know how to drive (automatic and manual)
- Must have BOSH, COSH, LCM Trainings
- Must be Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering or any related course
