In alignment with the Occupational Safety and Health local legislative requirements of onboarding a competent Safety Officer with both the required experience and training as mandated Occupational Safety and Health Standard of the Philippines and the Department Order 198. Primary duties: Conduct Safety Audit and Inspections. The Corporate Safety Officer Provides oversight and performs full-time and continuous safety coverage and monitoring of the overall safety of the work site and the safety of associate inside the workplace. Promote the value and appropriate behavior of associates towards safety in the workplace. Report to and assist the Site Security and Safety Manager in the implementation of the Safety Manual. Coordinate all Safety and Occupational health issues that might affect the day to day operations on-site. Safety officer should be familiar with the company established emergency procedures. Conduct investigation of accident, incident or near misses and recommend to the management of any prevention of recurrence. Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data. Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to Occupational health and safety for the guidance of the Security and Safety Manager and with the approval and the direction of the Country Head- Security and Safety. Assists government agencies during safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs. Maintaining Statistical records on Safety related matters. Maintain communication with the management to report on the status of the occupational health and safety program. Establish a continuous improvement program for the maintenance of company policies, procedures and manuals for occupational health and safety. Minimum education and experience: At least 3 years Minimum OSH relevant experience. College Graduate, preferably Engineering or Health Related course.
