SAFETY OFFICER
 
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of any Bachelor of Science courses
Preferably 2-3 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
DOLE-accredited Safety Officer is preferred
A valid Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) License is preferred
Must be willing to work in Tingub, Mandaue City
Work Summary:
 
Performs all necessary activities to ensure TIIC’s compliance with applicable local and international Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates actively in environmental, health, safety, and community-related activities to contribute to providing a safe, secure, and healthy workplace in TIIC.
Spearheads the development and implementation of OHS programs and activities that are designed to prevent occupational injury and illness in the workplace such as but not limited to PPE Management, Contractor Control, Equipment/ Tool Safety, Incident Escalation & Investigation, Risk Assessment, Transport Safety, Work Environment Monitoring (WEM), Material Handling, Fire Protection, and Emergency Preparedness and Response.
Ensures on-time processing/ submission of permitting and reportorial requirements set by DOLE and other relevant government agencies.
Conducts periodic site audits/ inspection to verify the facility’s sustained compliance of its OHS programs and identify potentially unsafe conditions as well as opportunities for improvement.
Participates and creates yearly strategic objectives and plans for the department
