The Safety Officer (SO) is responsible for business and employment continuity through the promotion of employee health and safety. The SO shall plan, implement, oversee, and evaluate the Company's occupational safety and health programs, ensuring legal adherence to the OSH standards, regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Has completed mandatory 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training (BOSH) at a DOLE-accredited training facility
Has completed additional 48hours of advanced specialized occupational safety and health training at a DOLE accredited training facility (E.g., Loss Control Management, Safety Audit, OSH Programming, etc.)
First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified by the Philippine Red
DOLE accredited Safety Practitioner (SO3), stronly preferred
At least 5 years experience in occupational safety and health role, preferrably in corporate or BPO setting
Knowledge of Philippine labor laws
Strong experience in planning, implementing and managing OSH programs, policies and procedures
Able to work on shifting schedules including graveyard nightshift
Above average spoken and written communication skills
Available to start ASAP
