Responsible for the implementation of health and safety programs in the project sites and office premises, as well as to ensure that all workers adhere to safety policies and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inspects workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet safety regulations and identifies hazards and risk.
2. Monitors and assesses hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
3. Responsible for the proper use of personal protective equipment in workplaces according to regulations.
4. Assists in the preparation of various reports, documents and forms.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least college level
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
3. Must have at least forty (40) hours of Safety Training Certificate (COSH Certification) accredited by DOLE
4. Must have undergone at least forty-eight (48) hours of advanced/specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry.
5. Must possess good oral and written communication skills
6. Preferably knowledgeable of the interface between labor and management at the workplace
7. Will be assigned in Mandaue City
8. Can start ASAP
