Qualifications:
Licensed Engineer
At least 10 years of experience as Safety Officer (SO)
Safety Officer
Knowledgeable in Safe Work Practices
Knowledgeable in Emergency Preparedness and Response
Knowledgeable in Environmental Related Laws and Regulations
Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management System
High confidence level, dedicated leadership qualities and strong potential to handle safety function
Excellent ability to adapt to difficult situations
Exceptional Organizational Skills
Attention to work detail
Willing to be assigned in Pampanga
Key Roles:
Implements Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures
Orients every personnel in the job site regarding OHS prior to deployment
Conducts daily safety inspections in all work areas under his area of responsibility
Identifies and analyzes degree of risk level at the project site
Formulates policies on how to prevent and correct measures on identified
Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and safety literature and circulate information applicable to each level of employees
Determine required minimum Personal Protective Equipment applicable in the project and ensure its proper use at all times
Conducts investigation of accidents and prepares investigation reports
Prepare root cause analysis on incidents/accidents and includes his analysis in the accident investigation reports
Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements
Provide administrative functions on projects site supervision on warehousing, security and securing of government regulatory requirements
Performs other related functions that may be assigned within his capability
