Job Description
Ensures that the systems and processes for Safety, Health and Environment comply with the requirements of Pilmico Food Group Guidelines and Policies as well as External Interested Parties (e.g. customers and legal requirements).
Collaborates with the departments to ensure that the overall performance of the established systems and processes for Safety, Health and Environment are verified and reviewed at planned intervals and communicated to Top Management.
Sets and aligns the established systems and processes objectives for Safety, Health and Environment with the Context and Strategic direction of the Organization.
Manages the established Integrated Management Systems for Safety, Health and Environment, as applicable, to ensure certifications to international & national standards are achieved and sustained.
Plans and allocates strategically the resources needed for the sustained & effective operation of the established Safety, Health and Environmental systems & processes.
Plans actions to engage, direct and support stakeholders to contribute to the effectiveness of the established Safety, Health and Environmental systems & processes.
Works in collaboration with relevant teams to promote improvements of the established Safety, Health and Environmental systems & processes.
Plans and evaluates process conformance and performs Safety, Health and Environmental audits for various business processes
Collaborates with other departments to ensure resolution of the Safety, Health and Environmental Issues.
Determines the training and developmental needs related to Safety, Health and Environmental systems & processes and initiates the trainings to be conducted to all relevant stakeholders.
Drives Innovation together with the Site Task Force Lead.
Supports Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental plans and strategies.
Responsible for the individual development of his or her direct reports.
Plans and establishes an annual budget for the SHE department. Ensures that departmental budget performance is efficient.
Participates and contributes to annual strategic planning
Qualifications
Education
Engineering degree or any SHE related technical course
Experience
More than 5 years of experience in related work, with strong SHE Leadership experience
Manufacturing process knowledge preferred
Knowledge on OSHA regulations, ergonomics, and basic safety programs required
Knowledge on Environmental, National and Local laws ((RA 11058, RA 9003, RA 6969, RA 9275, RA 8749, PD 1586, NWRB, LGU, and BFP).
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NFPA, Process Safety Management System.
Licenses
Licensed engineer, preferred
Registered DOLE OSH Practitioner, a must
