Safety Engineer (Novaliches)

Job Description:
Conduct safety orientation and safety toolbox meetings
Conduct Site safety, scaffolds inspection, and hot works inspection
Monitor housekeeping
Apprehend safety violators and make initial report for reference.
Identify risks/hazards
Conduct health and sanitation inspection of canteens, restrooms, rest area and lockers
Initial checking of DOLE-BWC basic requirements for newly hired staff and workers prior to screening of Project Physician and orientation.
Safekeeping of orientation records, toolbox meetings attendance and copies of different safety permits.
Get initial data and make initial report during accident occurrence.
Monitoring and safekeeping safety signages and other safety materials.
Reports to the Safety Supervisor and EHS Supervisor. May report directly to the Project Manager in cases of emergency.
Conducts safety site inspection of external working platforms including but not limited to gondolas and other heavy equipment
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
*Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
*At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
*Applicants must be willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City
*Had a COSH/BOSH training.
