Introduction
The Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Reviews and process journal entries, performs account reconciliations, Month End Closure and reports based on agreed deadlines with the client.
This role will let you improve your Finance and Accounting skills and business knowledge to directly contribute to the delivery of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which measures how the activities are based on agreed targets.
You will have the opportunity to support continuous improvement initiative, provide training, education to junior team members, and learn new process from the client or third party and understand Exception, creates DTP & Amend DTP with updates.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You should at least have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Bachelors of Science in Accountancy, BSBA - Accounting Technology, BSBA - Management Accounting, BSBA - Banking and Finance, BSBA - Financial Management
5 years experience in accounting, reconciliation, preparation financial reports and 2 Years supervisory experience
Understand accounting concepts across General Accounting- with Month End Closure Process
Required Skills/Competencies (Independently): Accounting, Analysis, Accounts Reconciliation, Strong Microsoft Excel user
ERP working experience
Proficient in English Language
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
CPA Qualification
Strong background in accounting, able to review & approve JEs and Account reconciliation, preparation of financial reports
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Must possess a strong leadership ability and organizational commitment
Highly organized, analytical, results-oriented and is keen on details.
Has high level of maturity and sense of responsibility
Has the ability to collaborate with others
Highly motivated and proactive and unquestionable integrity
