Job Description
Responsible for the analysis, development and implementation of software applications. The position also entails system maintenance of the existing applications in production.
Develop and maintain Applications and programs using RPG
Set-up and configure applications.
Create technical specifications, test plans; perform systems test, manage UAT and manage deployment activities.
Provide 2nd level support to application issues in a timely manner (identify problems, defect tracing, identify solution).
Conduct applications / solutions assessment vs user requirements and submit a technical recommendation. Must be capable of handling many aspects of the application, including but not limited to performance, scalability, security, and testing.
Qualifications
With strong experience on RPG programming
With knowledge on object oriented programming
With knowledge on Database design and scripting using DB2 database
With understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle)
Highly Desirable
Knowledge using C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API with MS SQL database is a plus
With experience on web service, service oriented technology is a plus
