Insight is currently looking for a SysAdmin / Devops to join our Robotics Process Automation (RPA) team. You'll be working with an agile team from a DevOps perspective to improve and automate business processes company-wide and will be able to have a direct impact with your efforts in the development of scripts and bots.
RPA has been reported by Gartner and others as the fastest growing market in enterprise software. With the nature of the need to work across teams in this segment, RPA has attracted candidates from former Front-end / Back-end developers, SysAdmins, QA testers, and even Business Analysts to continue careers in the RPA space.
Job Requirements:
-BS/BA with a concentration in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience sourced from on-the-job, certifications, bootcamps, internships, etc.
-Experience with Windows Server and AD based environments
-Experience with TCP/IP networking and best practices of operating within a Development, QA and Production environment
-Experience with QA testing, OS and Application changes before deployment
-Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
-Experience with monitoring systems and maximizing throughput and uptime.
-Experience with the triage of issues to problem solve and determine root cause.
-Experience working in a corporate or equivalent dynamic environment.
-Experience with front line support to keep our existing bots running to SLA.
-The desire to always improve your skills. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are necessary in order to thrive in this role.
-Good writing and diagram skills to document processes using products such as Office and Visio.
-Experience working with code repositories.
Essential Functions of the Job:
-You'll be working closely alongside a team of developers and business analysts on improving continuous deployment processes and best practices in maintaining high levels of uptime for the environment.
-You will help us evolve the monitoring and observability of our systems and expand our service level objectives.
-As a member of the RPA team, you will be on the forefront of shaping the future of the company by engaging and collaborating with developers and infrastructure engineers across teams. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be driven about making systems and apps better and more resilient. Progress on complex processes happens in small and frequent improvements in order to reach ambitious goals.

-You want to shape a distributed workplace. You'll be working as part of a distributed team across multiple time zones, mostly in North America. You're enthusiastic about contributing to remote work culture.
-Collaborate to document detailed test plans for bots with end-to-end quality control.
-Provide on-going support for bots once in production.
-Identify the need for and plan change management to ensure a seamless transition to process automation.
-Back up support for other team members to assist with system questions or support.
