The Risk Analyst is part of the team responsible for identifying and investigating incidents of suspected and actual fraudulent activity leading to the abuse of William Hill. Through their experience, they have been able to develop their skills to an extremely high level in order to offer excellent service while also providing real-time support to their less experienced colleagues - as business needs require.
The core objectives are achieved through verifying a customer's account integrity and executing full impact investigation for the business and relevant departments. The role also includes daily interaction with William Hill retail operators and various internal stakeholders.
This role demands a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
1. Fraud Detection and Risk Analysis
Uses in house and 3rd party tools to detect potential fraud across all relevant William Hill platforms
Makes accurate, well informed decisions based on risk analysis in cases handled
Takes appropriate follow up action on customer accounts in line with the risk analysis and company procedures
2. Productivity, Quality and Compliance
Meets the department's expected levels of productivity and quality Key Performance Indicators
Adhere to regulatory compliance policies that protect both client and WH business interest.
Expected to undertake training for cross skilling in different work aspects in Risk & Payments and application of cross skilled knowledge as per business demands
3. Feedback Cycle
Provides ongoing feedback and raises problems based on day to day experience as part of the departments continuous improvement
Ensure that all relevant issues/concerns are properly escalated to contribute to team fraud and risk knowledge base
4. Reporting
On occasion, may be tasked with contributing to the compilation of and submission of regular reporting
5. Company Policy Adherence
Able to adjust to both Working from Home and/or Working from the office based on company policies depending on business needs.
Flexibility on different shifts and scheduling requirements as needed
Skills And Qualifications:
Candidate must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Candidate must have a good understanding of the department's processes and guidelines - professional knowledge
Candidate must have a good grasp of the services being offered by William Hill, processes involved as well as proficiency in tools navigation and knowledge
Candidate must exhibit positive behavior in line with William Hill expectations
PC literate with basic Microsoft office knowledge
Candidate must have the abilities to:
