We are a seafood export manufacturing firm based in Mactan Economic Zone 1, Lapu-Lapu City,  Cebu, Philippines. We manufacture pasteurized canned crabmeat, frozen tuna, block frozen shrimps,  cooked sliced octopus, & other seafood products to US, Europe, and Asian markets.
 
We are in need of:
 
RETORT OPERATOR
 
Job Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring retort machines for sterilization of canned products.
Ensuring proper temperature, pressure, and processing time are maintained based on set standards.
Checking and recording retort parameters and ensuring compliance with food safety requirements.
Conducting pre-operation checks and ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
Coordinating with QC for verification of sterilization processes.
Performing basic troubleshooting and reporting mechanical issues to maintenance.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety within the retort area.
Ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
At least High School Graduate or Technical/Vocational Graduate.
With experience in retort operation or food processing is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in sterilization process and food safety standards is preferred.
Careful attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
Willing to work on shifting schedules.
