The RETAIL TERRITORY MANAGER partners with internal and external stakeholders, including franchisees or operators of handled stations, to ensure the following:
a. Proper administration of activities related to compliance with Company standards
b. Proper management of activities related to the operations of handled stations
c. High quality of customer service delivery in all handled stations
d. Profitability and continuous growth of all handled stations through proper management and implementation of relevant activities
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Ensures compliance with the company's operational policies and procedures such as, but not limited to:
1.1. Customer service
1.2. Station cleanliness and maintenance
1.3. Station equipment maintenance
1.4. Inventory management
1.5. Marketing programs
2. Conducts regular operations audits in handled stations to ensure their compliance to SEAOIL's procedures, policies, and guidelines.
3. Ensures compliance to national and local government permits and reports such as, but not limited to:
3.1. Business permit
3.2. BIR Compliance
3.3. Department of Energy - Certificate of compliance
3.4. DENR - Submission of SMR, CMR, PCO accreditation
3.5. Permit to Operate
3.6. LLDA
3.7. Discharge permit
3.8. Hazardous waste generator
3.9. Environmental clearance
3.10. Locational clearance
4. Client Relationship Management
4.1. Acts as an intermediary between handled stations and SEAOIL departments to address concerns.
4.2. Coordinates with franchisees on matters related to the Franchise Agreement and the company's policies and procedures.
5. Personnel Management
5.1. Supervises performance of all handled Station Managers/Heads.
5.2. Trains all Station Managers/Heads on standard station operations, customer service, and marketing programs.
6. Station Profitability
6.1. Monitors and analyzes station's profitability to include sales, OPEX and working capital (for dealer-operated stations).
6.2. Coordinates with the Retail Sales Team, if needed.
7. Provides assistance to the Franchise Conversion Team in terms of gathering of documentation requirements related to the conversion of sites.
8. Performs other tasks that are necessary to ensure the proper operations of handled stations.
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:
Graduate of any four-year course and from reputable universities.
With at least two (2) years of relevant work experience in Retail Operations and Sales (preferably from the Retail Industry)
With valid Driver's License and can drive a manual transmission vehicle
Willing to be assigned in Cebu.
Critical Expertise and Skills: * Adept in driving skills (Manual Transmission (M/T) vehicle), negotiation skills, stakeholder management skills, selling skills, and people management skills.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, diligence, and perseverance.
Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations)
Realistic Job Preview:
A day in the life of a Retail Territory Manager would involve:
1. Working in a high-pressure environment that deals with various external clients
2. Working with different personalities in the workplace
3. Work that may require time away from attending to personal matters (e.g., rest, time with family, etc.)
4. Work that may require working on extended hours, even on weekends and holidays
5. Work that will require regular field work and travel
Expectations from Candidates:
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
