The Role
As a Retail Credit Portfolio Reviewer, you will help develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the specific asset product for the Retail Bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through policy creation and modifications, oversight of policy / procedures implementation, portfolio analysis, risk identification and assessment, as well as monitoring and controls of identified risks. Also, you will escalate existing risks as well as emergent risks to Retail Credit Risk Management Division Head
How you'll contribute
Perform regular reviews, analysis and monitoring of the Retail Credit products portfolio of the bank, its subsidiaries and affiliates through report generation, data analysis and limits monitoring to ensure pro-active identification of emergent risks as well as existing risks and opportunities to ensure quality Risk Management
Understand fundamental concepts of retail credit business through review of policies, guidelines and manuals and close coordination with business to be able to support growth of a profitable business supported by appropriate and adequate risk management controls / capabilities.
Communicate effectively the overall performance and risk assessment of the Retail portfolio based on portfolio data, market information and economic factors to create awareness across management for proper business strategies and decision.
Continuously Review, Assess and Implement Credit Policies and Procedure to ensure implementation of Risk Management framework and compliance to regulations.
Establish proper planning of various tasks and responsibilities through time allocation, prioritization and calculated decision making to achieve optimal execution of job function
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in any field
At least 7 years' relevant experience as a Retail Credit Portfolio Reviewer, preferably in Banking, Credit Card Companies, Business Process Outsourcing/BPO, Leasing/Financing Institutions
Solid credit experience; Financial evaluation skills are a must; Has knowledge of credit products and credit processes.
Has background on Risk Management principles; Familiar with various Retail Credit products such as Cards and Loans; Knowledgeable in MS Excel, MS Access, SAS and R system.
Highly Analytical; Skilled in Programming and Report Creation; Also has project management and presentation skills.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties; Has the ability to adjust to a dynamic environment; Good attention to details; Has the ability and willingness to constantly improve and automate current processes.
