RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR
 
Job Description:
 
Restaurant Supervisor is in charge of all restaurant operations to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly. A supervisor also oversees the restaurant staff activities, ensures the food quality and health, safety regulations and resolves customer's complaints.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Main Duties: 
Ensure the opening and closing of the outlet at the schedule hours.
To maintain-Service standards and procedures for the outlet and to ensure that they are achieved and followed by.
To rotate and schedule all the outlet staff in order to promote full coverage for efficient service and to maximize productivity.
To motivate, educate and develop staff on a continuous basis to achieve an overall maximum efficiency.
To minimize guest complaints, but if they should occur, to take remedial action immediately.
To ensure that all guest are greeted and seated courteously without delay.
To ensure that all guest are served promptly.
To ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
To stress the importance of personnel cleanliness, neatness   grooming and deviation from their prescribed uniform
To be constantly searching for ways and means to improve the smooth operation of the outlet.
Ensure all of the outlets operational equipment is on hand and all stocks are on the appropriate level for daily operation
Sets the example by adhering to all rules and regulation set by management while on duty.
Must have good communication with staff and build a good team spirit.
To present a positive attitude and leadership style to their staff.
Assist the Operation Manager / Manager in all areas whenever they are required.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
Schedule working hours of personnel in the outlet.
Maintains employee discipline and morale.
Negotiates and controls all stocks in the outlet.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of outlet premises.
Ensure accountability and proper maintenance of assigned equipment.
Request for repairs and maintenance.
Ensures proper transmittal of documents to parties concerned.
Ensure that all reports (Sales Report, Daily Report, Monthly Report) will be submitted on time/deadline.
Coordinate with Administrative Officer
Job Qualifications:
Preferably a Bachelor's Degree holder of any business course.
Honest, loyal and hardworking.
Good analytical skills, computer literate and has a background in Marketing.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong leadership, and customer-oriented.
Can effectively lead a team under pressure, self-motivated, and assertive.
Ability to work in a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
Work experience of at least 2 years as a Restaurant Supervisor is an advantage.
