JOB DESCRIPTION
Apart from overseeing and monitoring construction employees, Resident Engineer will also handle daily logs, project documents and materials calculations, which are essential to the success of current and future projects. The position will also be responsible in ensuring that the right materials are purchased and used in every construction project and ensuring compliance to safety regulations is given in this job.
This will include but not limited to the following:
Provides direct planning and supervision for engineering activities, which include electro-mechanical equipment operation and maintenance, and engineering project management
Support tenant's utility requirements and the promotion and implementation of mall wide regulations and policies.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Professional License holder in the related field is required for this position
Work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction works in a supervisory capacity is preferred
With good working knowledge of national and local building codes and safety standards.
With working experience in line with managing business facilities (high rise building operational equipment)
With excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Knowledge in electrical wiring and/or mechanical operations of various mall equipment.
Willing to work on weekends and public holiday.
