To input the daily reservation bookings with accurate information into company PMS for FIT, Wholesale and Corporate across all hotels as directed by Central reservations manager, supervisor and team leader
Efficient management of email enquiries and inbox
To have an understand of OTA's and online booking systems and websites
Update OTA and GDS bookings and check reservations are accurate, ensuing seamless checkin/out process for guests
Process amendments to reservations (extensions, early departures, confirmations)
Update travel agent booking vouchers
Maintain knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions
Ensure each reservation has correct details taken and confirmed with attention to all details including special requirements, including special requirements, traces and added remarks that will assist all internal departments of the hotel
Process Airline and partner points
To liaise closely with Central Reservation team leader locally & NZ Central Reservation Team on a daily basis
To ensure all reservations are loaded into PMS following correct procedures as outlined by Hotel Policies
To be familiar in the operation of company group policies
To be available for staff meetings and training sessions as required via online meetings
To assist the Central Reservations Team Leader in other duties as required
Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure with high volumes of data entry
Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ideally experience working in a reservations type role
Computer literate
Professional approach with sensitive data
Reliable and flexible to the needs of the business
Excellent comprehension of the English language both verbal and written
