Job Responsibilities:
Research and Development
Design and conduct experiments to determine alternative waste treatment methods.
Research, design and conduct specific experimental procedures for the development of new/alternative waste treatment methodologies and techniques.
Prepare and present detailed and comprehensive reports regarding proposed experimental procedures prior to execution and regarding the results of executed trials as well.
Introduce innovative innovative cost saving strategies for the Company.
Process Improvement of Facilities
Work with the Process Engineer in Process Improvement Projects of all Facilities
Conduct process review and evaluation of currently utilized plant processes and develops improvement plans for individual or over-all process outputs; and/or cost reduction.
Research and Development

Process Improvement of Facilities
Work with the Process Engineer in Process Improvement Projects of all Facilities
Conduct process review and evaluation of currently utilized plant processes and develops improvement plans for individual or over-all process outputs; and/or cost reduction.
Conduct laboratory trials to determine appropriate procedures for the treatment of waste.
Develop procedures for the handling, storage, treatment and disposal of the different types of wastes.
Determine materials needed in the treatment of waste and make recommendation to the Process Engineer on the materials to be used.
Develop treatment standards and quality assurance plan.
Prepare work instructions for use in the plant in coordination with the Process Engineer.
Formulate new methods of treatment that are cost-efficient and will shorten the throughput time of waste treatment as compared to existing methods and procedures.
Assist Operations personnel on Technical problems encountered during treatment.
Coordinate with the Operations Team for the implementation of all process improvements initiated, technology transfer and cost reduction programs.
Maintain documents of R&D works and updates documents periodically.
Prepare weekly accomplishment report for submission to Technical Services Manager.
Possess high level of flexibility and collaborative relationship skills, leads change, can adapt quickly, forward and conceptual thinker, has a strong desire to reach goals and work to strict timeliness.
Possess clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Executes other functions as maybe required from time to time.
Job Qualification:
Education/License: College graduate with degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any related discipline on Science and Engineering; License is not required.
Years and Type of Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience in the field of Process Engineering and Chemistry
Related Skills/Knowledge: Analytical Chemistry, Research and Development, Chemical Processes
