RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT
 
 
Job purpose
 
Responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and developing innovative solutions to enhance the company's products and services & identifying opportunities for growth and implementing strategies to maintain the company's competitive edge.
 
Duties and responsibilities
To carry on new product development, process and profit improvement projects
Actively participate in technical programs and management of personnel
Prepare/review product prototypes compliant with regulatory agencies
Prepare/review product costing analysis to ensure that products are within the target cost
Develop and carry out standard procedures in the conduct of product quality and product acceptability tests
Test and select ingredients and packaging materials for specific projects
Establish and document product and process specifications
Conduct literature searches or accesses international databases related to assigned projects.
 
Qualifications
 Graduate of BS Food Science or equivalent
At least six(6) months to one (1) year experience
Good inter-personal relationship.
Must have attention to details to ensure product standards and processes.
Must alert to observe compliance to standard parameters
Requires following all sanitation and standard procedures in production.
