The Real Time Operations Team (RTOps) is responsible for 24/5 monitoring and data quality checking of direct feeds from different Global Stock Exchanges and to ensure stakeholder's expectation are met or exceeded. The team works closely with Product Development, Engineers and other Content Teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure all market data checks during the assigned shift are completed without fail
Escalate issues requiring Engineering or Product Development involvement
Work with TL, Manager and Content management on content projects, documenting findings and providing background analysis
Conduct comprehensive content workflow testing and further QA with assistance as required
Takes ownership of test plans for content sets
Has close working partnership with engineering and Content management
Confidently identifies issues and takes responsibility for resolution and/or escalation
Consistently delivers weekly/monthly reports to direct supervisor
Uses in-house tools to track personal performance and project process (Twiki, RPD, etc.)
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics and equivalent courses
Interest in Global Stock Exchanges, Investing and Equity Trading.
Outstanding time management, prioritization, and independence as well as keen attention to detail.
Comfortable in dealing and analyzing large datasets
Flexible, willing to learn technical terminologies/processes
Excellent communication/comprehension skills both verbal and written
An ability to work under pressure to real time data issues
Computer literate: Proficient working with MS Excel
Willing to be assigned in any shift.
Preferred skills but not required:
1-2 years' experience with various Databases and back end testing methodologies such as; Data Integrity validation and regression testing
Advanced Excel Skills such as Power Query, Marcos, and Data manipulation
Excellent interpersonal skills: Has experience working and collaborating with multi-cultural and multi-functional teams
