Job Description:
We seek an experienced Remote Managing Accountant to lead our Business Processing team of 10-15 accountants. Your exceptional organizational skills, communication abilities, cultural savvy, and process-driven mindset will drive productivity and achieve financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 accountants
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and effective communication.
Train team members on accounting applications and tools to enhance productivity.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify professional development opportunities
Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management
Drive process improvements for productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and a strong work ethic
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience in managing accountants or similar leadership role
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills and great presentation
Excellent communication skills and C2 English
Experience handling US corporate clients and accounts
Cultural savvy and ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience
Proficiency in accounting software and applications, with the ability to train and mentor team members
A detail-oriented mindset focused on accuracy and data integrity
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
