The Reinsurance Operations Analyst CRNT - MAC will work as part of a team supporting both Producing Office and Servicing Office (consisting of QBE owned offices and strategic network partners) with the Claims and Reinsurance teams. The role will include effective co-ordination of claims and reinsurance elements though the full lifecycle of a Multinational Claim Experience including claim and reinsurance administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the reinsurance strategy and processes
Provide recommendation and advise on system solutions and resources needed to meet business requirements
Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met
Suggest process improvements initiatives and provide solutions to enhance current processes and procedures
Develop and maintain relationships with QBE Divisions, Reinsurers, Brokers, Underwriters and Claims in order to aid recovery process and maximize the reinsurance strategy
Ensure that high standards of service are maintained and improved upon
Co-ordinate local claims input, ensure reinsurance data is accurately captured and forwarded to the relevant parties in the right order.
Responsible for ensuring that all claims and reinsurance data is centrally held and accurately completed by the relevant parties.
Produce reconciliation reports for the offices on a monthly basis.
Use of QGlobal and other IT systems to co-ordinate claims and reinsurance data maintaining data quality and producing management information (reporting)
To work as part of a team and ensure that Multinational Claims/Reinsurance issues are flagged and communicated to all relevant parties and that the Head of Multinational Claims is kept abreast of any issues.
Liaise with related areas of the business including CCU-M, Claims, Reinsurance, MAC, MCC, GSSC to assist with consolidation and reconciliation of claims and reinsurance data.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
