Project Description
Our client is a multinational insurance firm, operating in Western Europe, North America, the India Pacific region, and the Middle East, with a presence also in Africa.
lt also provides investment management and other financial services.
The assignment will primarily focus on the delivery of enterprise-level applications in the Data Analytics area.
We are seeking someone with technical skills on Cloud based platform to play a role in a team of application maintenance and support, as well as build extensions and enhancements in Cloud based application implementation
Responsibilities
Candidates will ideally have at least 2 to 3 years' experience in building solutions using AWS data pipelines and data streaming services and a proven track record in delivering high quality work.
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Working on projects that utilize products within the AWS data ingestion and data management stack.
· Working with event based / streaming technologies to ingest and process data
· Working with other members of the project team to support delivery of additional project components (EMR, real-time analytics, API gateways...)
Skills
Must have
· BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Statistics.
· 2 to 5 plus years of experience in the BI / Data Management / Big Data field
· Knowledge of Data Management principles, best if within AWS framework
· Experience in building data warehouse ETL processes and data pipelines
· Previous experience working in service delivery/application maintenance
· Field consulting or professional services delivery experience
