JOB DESCRIPTION:
Studies blood cells, their numbers, and morphology using a microscopic technique;
Analyze test results and enters findings in computer;
Perform blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes;
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair any issues with the equipment used in the laboratory;
Perform radiographic procedures at a technically acceptable level;
Maintain quality assurance of the laboratory by performing proficiency testing;
Reduce the potential for liability by following established practices and procedures for completing x-rays as requested by the physician; and
Performs any ad hoc duties that may be assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree with Professional License in Medical Technology;
At least 6 months related work experience is a plus;
But newly board passers are welcome to apply;
With good oral and written communication skills;
Keen on details with good interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of best practices and advancements in the field of laboratory sciences;
Knowledgeable in MS Excel;
Proactive, fast learner, adaptable, has attention to details and analytical skills;
Can work with minimum supervision; and
Willing to work in Las Piñas City.
