Job Description Provide first level maintenance and 24/7 Surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport and Access Networks including relevant OSS, Backend Systems, Ancillary facilities and Environmental support systems necessary for the delivery of existing and future services using Network Management Systems and Operational Support tools within its respective coverage based on geographic area and/or type of network. Proactively monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams. Supply information for broadcast to communications management. DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fault management Performs 1st level troubleshooting of trouble tickets for outages and quality. Ensures ticket is issued and assigned to appropriate section. Monitors clearing and assures closure of ticket. Performs escalation during fault and quality degradation. Provides regular and timely information on the status of resolution of outages and quality degradation. Flags the section if ongoing restoration is at risk of meeting restoration standards. Addresses service issues and assures their resolution is implemented.. Performs service restoration activities such as resetting, rehoming and rerouting when outages or degradation occur Configuration Management Implements emergency change requests and activities. Performs centrally-implemented activities in the regional network. Performs vertical and horizontal escalation during instances of network outages or degradation in the region QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in any related field of study Make Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
