Fill role: ASAP We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Regional Head of Content and PR to join our Marketing team. Key responsibilities: Lead content efforts: Ensures that all the business's narratives and message are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions that he formulates along with the Marketing VP, and key stakeholders. Oversees the development and management of the content style guides, as well as the overall expression of the business's corporate identity in the content it puts out. Develop a content marketing strategy to: Build brand awareness and credibility for the company Increase user engagement in SwipeRx Increase no. of transactions and MAU from SwipeRx marketplace Generate leads behind content tailored for our clients Work closely with internal stakeholders (marketing product team, CRM specialist, community leader and head of Marketing) in developing the necessary content to support business needs: Commercial content, Product related content and Corporate content Help drive adoption with marketing team Collect, analyse and interpret content consumption patterns and behaviour Prepare monthly business reports around content performance and insights Map content and build personas around our entertainment customer base Build/manage and mentor a high performing team of writers to support business needs. Plays an active role in research and in this capacity, he formulates questionnaires and surveys, gathers information from key industry figures in an attempt to determine the validity of proposed topics and themes for the business's content.
Oversees all the content put out by the business to the media through, direct mail,
email, interviews, collateral, speeches, recorded messages, newsletters and so forth
Lead PR efforts:
Lead all PR efforts on corporate, product, management, and organizational news
Develop the regional PR strategy together with the PR agency to ensure we convey the
same brand reputation and image across the region
Coordinate the development of all concepts, content, and media responses, and
support local teams to successfully implement them
Use your networking and negotiation skills to pitch ongoing media updates in
international business and tech media to elevate our brand image and brand awareness
Work with the PR agency to craft highly engaging stories to ensure brand awareness
and recognition among our clients, users, and investors
Advise on content, media outreach, events, interviews, crisis management and help
them grow their portfolio of journalists
Collaborate closely with senior leaders and management regarding their public
communication and secure interviews through gripping angles
People Management:
Build your team to meet business objectives.
Define and track SMART objectives for each team member, regular 1-1 and
performance assessment carried out in exemplary fashion
Bring the best out of each writer while ensuring high productivity of the team
Career pathing of team members, using feedback and praise to focus on their strengths
Lead by example, set the bar in terms of work ethics, integrity, attitude, and output
Assist recruitment for hiring needs and define staffing organization needs, when
needed
Requirements:
Experience in developing content marketing for different channels and formats
(including social media, email, blog articles, in app notifications, etc)
5+ years in PR/Communications, with a solid corporate and crisis communication
background, preferably at an agency
Min 10 years of experience in content strategy, management, and performance
assessment
Min 7 years of experience writing for the healthcare industry and 5 years for the tech
industry
You have successfully completed your studies in the field of communication or
journalism
You have a strong network of journalists focused on the tech and startup space at
major international business and tech media
You have superb media networking and negotiation skills
You are passionate and curious about all aspects of communications and know how
to tell a compelling story
You have a keen understanding of media and the news cycle with proven success
achieving coverage across different media segments
You are a creative thinker and use this to your advantage when securing coverage
You have experience managing PR agencies, writers, and freelancers
You have strong organizational skills, are results-driven and detail-oriented with the
ability to multi-task and manage priorities
You are self-motivated, target oriented, resilient, and tenacious
You are an exceptional communicator with written and oral communications skills
in English. Any other languages are a plus
You are a team player and have experience managing a team
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
MORE IMPORTANTLY, we need someon who can write:
· Healthcare stories related to B2B, SEA , pharmacy focus, to continue developing blog articles for the company
· We need someone who can do the research of the topics and be able to write a story
· We need someone who can write about patient assistance programs, tuberculosis, market access, medication adherence, medication affordability, health tech, etc.
· We need someone who can develop case studies. We just provide key messages for the candidate to develop the storyline and bring external facts from desktop research to develop a compelling story.
