About the Role
The Wells Fargo WFI&P Talent Acquisition team is looking for a talented and seasoned professional to join its dynamic and diverse team, which supports all aspects of hiring across India and the Philippines for a significant business unit. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Philippines Country Leader, this role is responsible for managing the company's recruiting function and is a key partner responsible in developing and implementing programs to ensure staffing requirements are met in accordance with internal policy and governmental requirements.
Time is split between management duties and personal consulting. It is a critical responsibility of this role to provide recruitment consultation with middle to senior level management on strategic initiatives regarding current and future staffing needs. It is expected to develop and implement innovative sourcing practices including identifying and developing effective working relationships with recruitment agencies.
In addition, this role is expected to supervise staff including but not limited to coaching, performance evaluation, etc. and will exercise usual authority of a manager, including selection and development of staff.
Responsibilities
A. Process-related Tasks:
Collaborates with leadership to help them identify job requirements, fill their recruitment needs and ensure they are apprised of progress towards securing the requested headcount.
Analyzes and reports on employment statistics, including cost per hire, source of hire, and diversity recruiting initiatives.
Reports on recruiting activities to management, identifying problem areas and potential solutions.
Completes all necessary documentation to avoid potential serious audit and discrimination complaint consequences.
B. People Management Tasks
Give employees the information, technology and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs.
Continue having regular, ongoing discussions during which you can provide feedback throughout the year; complete a specific written appraisal for mid-year and annually.
Recognize and Reward Performance
Approving Time Records and Requests for Time off
Help employees address and resolve a wide variety of concerns and complaints.
Discipline and dismiss employees
Understanding and supporting diversity
Establishing effective teamwork
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college or university with no less than combined 14 years related work experience from a reputable BPO and GIC with at least 5 years of management experience. Candidate is required to have Targeted Selection Interviewing (TSI) Certification. Supporting and managing regional recruitment is an advantage.
Experience in managing functional groups. Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a team.
Strong working knowledge of standard recruiting procedures. Proven experience in sourcing and hiring qualified candidates.
Understands budgetary concerns and be able to meet goals within those guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates and leadership.
A true team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with executives both within the company and with partners.
Ability to plan, organize and schedule workflow to meet rigid project deadlines. Ability to follow through on work assignments with limited supervision.
Must be able to work independent of direct supervision.
Decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation and implementation.
Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with the ability to anticipate trends and assess consequences accurately.
