A Recreational Club Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all fitness programmes, ensuring adequate staff coverage, promoting the facilities to guests and prospects, assisting and advising on exercise technique, overall health, and diet to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing?
As a Recreational Club Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing all fitness assessments and programmes deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Recreational Club Supervisor will also be required to schedule adequate staff coverage. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure all fitness assessments, programmes, and inductions are carried out as and when required by fitness instructors, including self
Understand and advise members and guests on the correct usage of gym equipment
Ensure club members and guests receive friendly and consistent personalised service
Ensure the adequate coverage of the pool, gym and reception
Ensure regular pool tests are carried out
Ensure cleanliness of reception, changing rooms, pool side and gym facilities
Promote the facilities to hotel residents and perspective members
Encourage members and guests to feel motivated for fitness by building relationships and advising on exercise technique, overall health, and diet
Conduct inductions with new members and guests
Advise members on specific training needs and up-sell personal training sessions if required
Responsible for carrying out extracurricular classes
Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required
Ensure all users follow safe gym practices, enforcing safety regulations
Qualifications

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
First Aid and CPR Certified
Previous supervisory experience in fitness industry
Previous customer service experience
Local or International Fitness Certification
Relevant, current and valid certifications
Knowledge of diet and nutrition
