Job Description
Provides support to the Record-to-Report Manager and play a key role in the monthly close process for specific assigned location(s), general ledger accounts and adjusting entries as well as for all accruals by overseeing the recording and reporting for these items
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifies the information.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and reconciliations of all accounts.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Manages the accounting for all expense accounts; to include: identifying each expense by department and location, and maintain the accounting for expenses in accordance with corporate policy and GAAP.
Participates in the maintenance of the general ledger on a GAAP basis.
Assist with procedural and control improvements within the Finance department.
Produce error-free accounting results
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Provide input into the department's goal-setting process
Support month-end and year-end close process
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Support the external audit process.
Assist with finance department transformation initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required
Preferably a CPA Board passer
Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Financial Reporting
Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
Understanding of IFRS and all applicable accounting rules and regulations
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and Pivot tables; proficient in the Microsoft Office
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
