Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the Record to Report (R2R) Team's operational performance and ensure excellent service delivery in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs. He/she will work closely with the regional process owner to streamline the R2R processes and help drive process improvement projects and ensure team's compliance with internal controls. He/she will also drive strong working relationship with the stakeholders and management.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance and support to the in-scope countries in delivering timely and accurate financial transactions for Record to Report including but not limited to:
a. General Accounting
b. Cash Management/Treasury
c. Intercompany Accounting
d. Fixed Asset Accounting
e. Month-end Closing
f. Reconciliation (Lead Schedules, Balance Sheet Recon)
g. Inventory Accounting
h. External Reporting
i. Management Reporting (e.g., P&L Analysis)
j. Implement global standard process
2. Ensure compliance to the Group Financial Manual.
3. Identify, facilitate, and implement process improvements.
4. Lead and drive the global business services R2R Team activities.
· Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within R2R process.
· Prepare operational KPIs and performance reports and report result to stakeholders.
· Build and maintain relationship with the countries and global process owners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, and a CPA
With 8 to 10 years of experience in Record to Report function, 4 to 5 years of which in a leadership role
With focus on analysis and reporting, and relevant experience in shared service migration and operations
Must have shared services/BPO finance experience, and has supported other regions especially APAC
Knowledge of Oracle Business Suite, and experience in project management and process improvements are advantages
Good communication skills
Must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa
