​​​​Role Summary:
The Reconciliation Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day reconciliation processes, PORTIA administration, supervising the Reconciliation Associate, and assists the Head of Trust Operations as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Checks daily reconciliation of cash and securities positions for all the Trust accounts
Checks daily reconciliation of PORTIA Core holdings versus Fund Accounting Ledger Holdings
Checks monthly reconciliation of securities positions for all the Trust accounts and cash positions held with other settlement banks
Checks monthly reconciliation of securities positions held by Unit Investment Trust Funds
Monitors resolution and ageing of breaks
Monitors month-end interest of all the Trust bank accounts
Maintains Static data for PORTIA's portfolio master file, security master file and transaction master file
Maintains import files and import specifications for portfolio, security and transaction in PORTIA
Support PORTIA users in report requirements, includes developing reports within PORTIA database
Troubleshoot transaction errors encountered by PORTIA users, escalate to vendor support or IT any technical problems
Complies with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness
At least 3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in reconciliations operations in banking or investments industry
CPA is highly preferred
Experience in project management, systems migration and implementation (highly preferred)
Knowledge of the banking and financial services industries and asset management products
Efficient and thorough; strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment; firm commitment on quality and excellence.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout an organization
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Self-motivated, able to work independently in a relatively unstructured environment
Proficiency with MS Office applications particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as familiarity with trading systems (Bloomberg etc.)
Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, experience with bank accounting and financial statement analysis (highly preferred)
Ability to identify and resolve potential issues / problems
High level of integrity
Mid-Senior Level / Manager Accounting and Finance Asset Management 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
