Real Estate and Network Development Officer
 
Overview: A Real Estate and Network Development Officer plays a crucial role in identifying, evaluating trade areas for acquiring sites for expansion projects. This position involves researching potential trade areas, locations, negotiating with property owners, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and managing relationships with stakeholders throughout the site acquisition process.
 
Responsibilities:
Trade Area and Site Identification: Conduct research to identify potential trade areas and sites that meet project requirements and objectives.
Trade Area and Site Evaluation: Assess the feasibility of potential sites by considering factors such as traffic generators, zoning regulations, technical requirements, visibility, accessibility, and market demand.
Negotiation: Negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and other legal documents with property owners or landlords.
Permitting and Approvals: Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for site development.
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence activities, including site inspections, title searches, and environmental assessments, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with property owners, local government officials, community organizations, and other stakeholders involved in the acquisition process.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, legal, and finance, to facilitate the site acquisition process and ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to site acquisitions, including lease agreements, contracts, permits, and correspondence.
Budget Management: Manage budgets and expenses related to site acquisition activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may arise during the site acquisition process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Previous experience in site acquisition, real estate development, property management, or a related field is a plus but not a requirement.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of zoning regulations, real estate laws, and real estate market trends.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Business presentation softwares and other relevant software applications.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and records.
Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

Willingness to travel to various sites and locations as needed.
