Role Profile:
The Raw Material Planning Offucer reports to Production Planning and Control Manager. He/She creates raw material plan and monitor status to ensure 100% availability during production.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Check RM availability within 2 days upon receipt of PO/SO Summary.
2. Check RM availability inquiry from Sales within 2 days and 1 day for urgent items.
3. Recommends alternative for items without RM.
4. Provide ETA if RM is not available and without alternative.
5. Calculate RM requirement of forecast based items by analyzing rolling forecast and WIP.
6. Coordinate regularly with Sales for updated forecast.
7. Prepare and submit Purchase Requisition on a timely manner.
8.Find ways to reduce/minimize material ageing.
9. Recommends process improvement.
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Competencies:
1. Graduate of any 4 or 5-year Bachelor's Degree preferably in Industrial Engineering.
2. With at least 1-year experience in production/material planning and inventory control.
3. Computer literate (Advance Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
4. Strategic and Analytical
5. Highly competent in planning, organizing and problem solving.
