Purpose:
Responsible for Radio Frequency (RF) communication network design, field surveys and validation, trouble-shooting, and RF network optimization.
Essential Functions:
• Interact in a team environment and work with others to achieve the best possible end-product from all functional viewpoints.
• Develop and implement strategies to validate resulting RF system performance against customer requirements. This requirement includes the development and implementation of design verification and production test procedures.
• Ensure that all designs exceed requirements of governing agencies.
• Conduct field surveys and field validation of RF network designs
• Provide technical guidance and support installation of RF network equipment
• Support field issues, conduct troubleshooting, and handle product .
• Preparation of RF Network performance monitoring reports, and progress reports on field installations, schedules, issues and resolution plans.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Responsible for identifying process and technology improvements.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Required:
• Bachelors of Science in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Physics, or Applied Math.
• Experience and technical capabilities with:
• RF measurement techniques.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Applications.
• Desire for continuous learning and to integrate new technologies.
Preferred:
• Master's degree with a focus on RF and/or Antenna development.
• Design of RF filter and matching sections.
• Experience and technical capabilities with:
• Antenna design.
