Responsibilities:
Responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
Prepares tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract documents; evaluates bids from contractors and suppliers; analyzes pricing; and assists in negotiating contracts.
Assesses the impact on costs and timelines, prepares cost assessments, and negotiates with contractors to reach fair and equitable agreements.
Monitors project costs to ensure they stay within the approved budget.
Tracks project expenditures, analyzes cost deviation, and implements appropriate measures to control costs effectively which includes: conducting cost forecasting, value engineering exercises, and providing regular cost reports to project stakeholders.
Responsible for certifying payments to contractors and subcontractors based on the progress of work completed.
Assesses the value of work done, prepares interim payment applications, and ensures that payments align with contractual obligations and industry norms.
Assesses and manages risks related to costs and contracts such as identifying potential risks, analyzing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
Work closely with project teams to identify risk factors, implement risk management procedures, and maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
Evaluates claims, reviews contractual agreements, and participates in dispute resolution processes such as negotiation, mediation, or arbitration and also provides expert opinions and reports related to cost disputes.
Assesses and considers sustainability aspects in construction projects.
Maintains accurate project documentation and prepares reports related to costs, budgets, progress, and financial performance. This includes: preparing financial statements, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and final account reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering preferably with PRC License
With at least 1-year relevant work experience
Willing to work in Compostela Cebu
