Job Description
Looking for an engineer who is detailed oriented, hardworking, honest, has excellent communication skills and a team player Salary will be commensurate to working experience and skill Responsible for estimating quantities, costs and expenditures, evaluating proposals, establishing unit cost, verifying technical data, and assisting in the review of plans and specifications, while ensuring that project quality, compliance and regulatory standards are maintained at the highest levels. Prepare manual and digital take-off quantities; Prepare Tender documents, tender evaluation and tender report Prepare Unit Price Analysis (UPA) and define man-hour cost and labor efficiency rates; Prepare cost plan and value engineering options to meet projected management budget; Represent bid conferences and project meetings, analyze tender submissions, prepare bid evaluation reports, and recommend tender awards for bid negotiations; Develops, implements and controls the project accounting and job costing system to meet project requirements. Assist in the evaluation of potential change orders in coordination with site cost control; and Monitor and keep track of project progress and prepare the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Preferably a licensed Engineer
At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering-Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent with working experience as Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator in Construction Industry.
