Send out quote requests to Suppliers for major items (Earthworks, Aluminum Doors & Windows, Plumbing, Roof Timber, Roof Cover, Pod, Cabinet & Stone Tops, Staircase & Balustrades, Stormwater, Aircon).
Monitor receipt of quotes and follow up suppliers if not yet received.
Raise concrete orders for all jobs.
May be tasked to schedule jobs.
Assist Scheduling Administrative Assistant (Variations) if needed.
Action construction variation orders. Send (as applicable) additional/amended orders, updated plans and/or addenda to Supervisors, Suppliers and Client Liaisons.
Raise additional orders as requested by Supervisors.
Check material and subcontractor invoices and raise additional orders if necessary.
Sort out Supervisor/Supplier queries after job has been raised.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Civil Engineer with or without experience (but experience with Australian Standard is also an advantage)
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
